(More customer reviews)I bought this meat grinder to use for making my own chum for fishing, and I have to say this grinder is EXCELLENT! It is all stainless steel so it should not rust, it grinds up fish EASILY and in seconds, and comes with 2 different plates for coarse or fine chum. It assembles easily, and the chute really helps keep your boat clean. It is also the lightest #32 meat grinder I could find (A awesome pro if you are going to be putting it in and out of the rod holder), and #32 meat grinders are the biggest non-commercial grinders. It also comes with a plastic plunger and shovel to protect your fingers while grinding which is are very handy accessories. It has a slot in the cutting board for the shovel (or a pair of pliers) but not for the plunger, but I just bore my own hole for the plunger. I also use the handy knife slot on the cutting board and can say it is secure.
I do have a few cons that I want to share though. It really will only work in ONE of your rod holders, so pick which one you want carefully, as to adjust it correctly for a different side of your boat requires some disassembly and reassembly. Also, I had to bore two new holes in the rod holder where it connects to the cutting board in order to make the cutting board flush with my boat edge -- there are only 3 options out of the package. The cutting board is sturdy but I still use a piece of wood running along the underside of the cutting board to make it even more stable and less wobbly.
Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this grinder as it is the cheapest stainless steel and cutting board combination #32 meat grinder I could find.
